Welcome to our new office!
We have moved and are now located at 215 Lagoon Court, Sandyport Olde Towne. According to the current Bahamas Government Emergency Powers Covid-19 Pandemic Orders, we are allowed to see all patients in the office. We are also happy to set up a telemedicine visit for you via a Zoom meeting. If you are unsure whether a telemedicine or in-person visit is the right option for you, please call the office to discuss which type of visit would best suit your needs.
Upon arriving at our office, your temperature will be taken at the door. You will be asked a series of questions regarding any Covid-19 symptoms, disease exposure and recent travel. We will not be able to see you in the office if your temperature is above 99.5, or you answer yes to any of the Covid-19 questions, you will be rescheduled for a telemedicine visit, and provided with information on Covid symptoms and what to do if you are experiencing any symptoms.
Our office is deep cleaned and sanitized at the end of every day, and is wiped down with disinfectant between each patient. Due to this process, we can not accommodate as many patients each day. The Bahamas Government Emergency Powers Covid-19 Pandemic Order states that only one person can be in the exam room with the Physician, unless the patient is under 18, or in need of physical or cognitive assistance. We are happy to include family members in the visit via a zoom meeting with the family member waiting in their vehicle. No family members are allowed to wait in the office waiting room.
You will notice the staff is wearing N95 or KN95 masks in our interaction with you in any close interaction, such as physical examination, ultrasound or injection.
If you are feeling unwell on the day of your appointment or have been potentially exposed to Covid-19, please give us a call so that we can reschedule you for a virtual visit. Our aim is to keep everyone as safe as possible during the pandemic.
