Aaron Armstrong, MPE, ATC
U.S. Certified Athletic Trainer
About
After graduating high school, Aaron immediately knew what he wanted to accomplish and set off right away to pursue his bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. It was here that Aaron had the opportunity to work along in the sport medicine field as an athletic training student with NCAA Division I teams. In working with these teams as an integral part of the sports medicine team, Aaron gained an invaluable experience in the professional arena working alongside doctors, orthopedic surgeons and other highly qualified medical personnel. His internships included Temple University’s football, baseball, softball, and soccer teams as well as University of Pennsylvania’s women’s volleyball and basketball teams.
In 2012, Aaron became a Certified Athletic Trainer and graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. He later returned home to the Bahamas as one of the only Athletic Trainers in the country, however Aaron once again left Nassau to pursue a master’s degree in Athletic Administration at Idaho State University. While in graduate school Aaron worked as the Outreach Coordinator in the Idaho State University Concussion Center until he graduated in August 2014. He was responsible for administering computer-based testing for high school athletes who had suffered from a concussion.
Aaron has been a member of the Sports, Spine and Rehabilitation Centre’s team since 2016.
When he has spare time, Aaron enjoys going to the beach, boating and spending time with his family. He still enjoys sports and relishes any opportunity to display his competitive nature on the field or court. Aaron has been fortunate enough to meet some of the best professionals in his field of study, and has created lasting relationships with them all. He keeps in contact with all of his previous advisors and still relies on them for professional advice.
